SUBMITTING ARTICLES
remember that you can submit articles…articles are a good way to promote your site…
yes, you can place a link to your site in your article or in the excerpt field, however it cannot be a ‘ live ‘ link ( this is to prevent people from posting hordes of, usually very short, articles just to get a bunch of links back to their site )…
this: thesportszone.org is an acceptable link…if I contacted you it is the same type of non-live link that I used…people will realize that they must make it live just as you did in getting here.
At present there is no limit as to how many articles you can submit, obviously the more articles and the better quality of articles will attract more interest in you and your site. We do not approve of every article that comes our way, if it does not meet our quality standards it may not be approved.
COMMENTING
remember that you can comment on other blogs, and even add updates to your site using the comment box feature…
like article submissions you may post comments on your own, or others, site/s…this will increase exposure and interest in you and your site/s…
we encourage people to use their comment box as if it were an article submission…
however, do not abuse this privilege as it could result in your account being deleted.
100 DAYS
Normally a submission is good for 365 days before it needs to be renewed, this helps us keep a very up-to-date directory…however, if you have not complied with the rules regarding submission we may have only accepted your site as a courtesy and reduced it to 100 days…

WAITING LIST
At some point we will have reached our goal in a category ( we want to limit each category to a minimum of 100 submissions to a maximum of 120 submissions, this way your site doesn’t get bogged down, like in most directories, so deep it’ll never be found ) …
when we reach our goal in a category any ‘ new ‘ submissions that fall into that category will be placed ‘ in waiting ‘…or, if possible, it will be moved to a category equally fitting that does have space…
a site submission is good for 365 days, or 100 days if not in compliance…if they are not renewed within 10 days after they have expired, or have not complied within the 100 days they have been listed as a courtesy, respectively, the next site in line will take their place.
Our goal is to provide the highest ‘ visibility ‘ possible for your site…and the only way to do that is to limit the number of submissions per category so you don’t find yourself so deep in the chain that no one will even bother to find you.

REGISTERED BUT NOT SUBMITTED A SITE YET
If you’ve registered and haven’t submitted your site yet, you should do it as soon as possible. Even though we are still very new, every site that has been submitted is getting hits, and waiting to submit your site is costing you valuable hits.
So get your site submitted!
